“Now all the youth of England are on fire!”

Hal Chambers re-imagined Shakespeare's history play into a modern day thriller upon the backdrop of the UK's broken relationship with Europe.

Featuring political manoeuvring, visceral battle sequences and front-footed electronic music, this was a Henry V for our times. Starring Aaron Sidwell, the 8-strong company transported us from London's halls of power, to the blood-soaked battlefields of France.

The production originally played during the summer of 2019 was also live streamed to thousands of viewers during the temporary closure of theatres due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

'A populist hal for a post-brexit world... Hal Chambers’s fleet-footed, verve-filled and lucid account of the play achieves an Agincourt-like victory’
